I think I have found a bug in the JoomDOC module.

Expired and unpublished documents are counted and still published but older documents won't show.

I have configured the module to show the 10 newest documents and have 13 documents and one subfolder with 3 unpublished documents.

9 of the documents in the main folder are expired but the module only shows me three documents when I'm not logged on in frontend. The missing file here are no 11 on the list.

The expected output here would be the 4 documents that are published.

If I'm loggged on as fileowner all files is showed but there are no way to separate unpublished or expried documents from published. Why do the module show me the unpublished and expired files?

The component are showing the expected output for a not logged on user and as you can see in the picture the last files is missing in the module that should show the 10 newest documents.

With some more testing it seems that the component is broken in the same way.

If I set the filter to show 10 at each page not logged on only the folder and two documents are shown on the first page and two documents on the second page. This is with the same setup as in first post.

The expected output is to show up to 10 published folder/documents on each page and not counting the unpublished.

When looking at the code the folders/documents are skipped in the view and the counting elsewhere. This don't seem right.

could you send us what Joomla/JoomDOC version are you using?
It will be probably necessary to update old version to the latest. If you use version 4.0.1, it is needed to update "flat index".

Im running JoomDOC 4.0.1 Standard on Joomla 2.5.18

Is "update "flat index". " the same as refresh Flat index?
If so I have done that multiple times.
