HI All,
I found a big problem in 3.2.11 in the parse method within sef.router.php line 200 when using encoded ampersands in the url %26.
$this->setRequestVars($vars)
The amperstands are incorrectly interpreted as literal ampersands by joomla and as such, a string that should be &key=text %26 more text is being decoded into key=text & more text, thus being broken down to key=text
and another ket called more text equal to nothing.
The line in the sef.route.php above is setting the request/get array incorrectly and the variables are no longer as they should be from the actual request.
Im going to flag this up on the developer forum as Im not sure if its an artio bug or a joomla bug.
Fix: To fix this, comment out the line able.

HI,
We are having the same problem.
If we set up a 301 redirect from:
holiday-cottages/search.php?Town=Bude
to
holiday-cottages/search.php?Town=Holsworthy
That doesnt work.
However
holiday-cottages/bude.php
to
holiday-cottages/search.php?Town=Holsworthy
does.
Is this a bug in artio or an inherrent problem in 301 redirecting.

Thats great,
Although its great that joomla has native SEF urls, they arent great, the-news/1-latest-news/1-welcome-to-joomla.html is not what I call a great SEF or human friendly URL, really need Artio to cache the URLs and make them all nice and pretty :)
I know devs hate ti when people say \"when will it be ready?\" but, \"when will it be ready?\" lol! Or at least, can you give a predicted month? Jan, feb, march? Artio is the 1 thing that is holding us back from J!1.5, with no ability to do 301's in joomla natively it makes it very hard to migrate a site from an SEO opint of view.
Thanks for the great work guys.
Regards
Oli Griffiths

Hi,
We love your SEF component for J!1, however, ive tried to install it on Joomla 1.5 and have not been very successful. It installs, but wont allow me to enable the component when I try to click save configuration it fails with errors about stdCalss->set not being a function.
Do you have any news on wether Artio JoomSef will work with 1.5.
Thanks
Oli
