This seems to be happening on all pages with a period (.) in the URL. I added a period to the list of \"Strip Characters\" and that fixed the problem for the most part, however I am still having a problem on a Fireboard post with a title that has a period in it. Since stripping the period from its title it now appears instead of giving a 404 error message, but it isn't possible to reply to the forum topic because the submit page gets garbled by JoomSEF.

Are there any developers watching these forums? Is there any way to get this issue resolved?

I just upgraded to the newest version, 2.2.6, from 1.5. I now have several pages that give 404 messages.

Using Joomla! 1.0.12. Anybody else getting this problem?

I still can't turn on JoomSEF because every page comes up blank except for this error text:

Is there anybody from Artio checking these forums? This upgrade to JoomSEF 2.2.6 has destroyed my site, all of my high PageRank pages are now worthless and I'm going to start losing money from advertisers. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

as the post above described. This seemed to have fixed the problem, but why is this problem in a stable release, and why hasn't it been addressed by the developers?

I just upgraded from version 1.5.x to 2.2.6 (which I downloaded from this website) and am now getting this same error. I had to turn off JoomSEF because it has killed my entire website. I am using Joomla! 1.0.12. Here is my error message:





It looks like JoomSEF is simply forgetting to put a slash directly after the website's base URL. How long until we can get a bugfix? Thanks.

First off I have been using Artio JoomSEF for some time now and I have recommended it to several people. Thanks!

And now my problem. I would like to remove the Itemid from my URLs because it is killing my Google PageRank, but I still want the Itemid functionality. How can I set up the component so that a URL without the Itemid will redirect to the Itemid from the main menu, therefore correctly displaying the page? Is this possible with custom redirects?

If this isn't possible, does anybody know of another SEF component that would.
