Looks like, at least for me, there's enough functionality in vanilla VM now to integrate my code in and give my clients what they need without using VM Invoice. WIll have to test, but looks promising.

Seems to be the forum isn't moderated at all. It's been over 6 months since it was 'coming soon'. The lack of response is highly unprofessional. VM 4 has been out for quite some time now, so there should be no technical reason for the delay. I haven't looked around for alternatives since my solution is based on this, but come end of year, I'll have to give up on VM Invoice if it's not out.

after updating VM to 2.0.26a, I get an error when trying to process a manual order.

Also, may or may not be related, I started getting PayPal IPN warning that the URL is not valid (it goes back to a blank page).

Same here, worked fine on previous versions but not after VM 2.0.26 update. Worst part, my subscription ended,

retrieving clients is still slow but that's not so crucial.

good stuff, update is out. a bit too close for opening time for me to test now in case something falls over, but I really hope it all works perfect now. Aside from this issue and slow client retrieval in manual order creation, I'm personally very happy with the extension.

I won't be as harsh, but 3 weeks is a long time for a critical issue that a few people are having, and since we all use this for our shops, this kind of thing is rather delicate.

sorry, didn't pay attention enough, posted a solution there for a completely different issue I've had.

since it's here, might as well mention it, it was to fix '?' showing up in empty div and p tags.

Don't know what caused it, since I've used it before without hassle, but solution is simple though.

Just change your Joomla default editor in Global Configuration to something other than TinyMCE. I changed it to JCE and problem's gone.

The underlying issue is still there, but you won't see it and it won't cause you problems.

Please disregard second line in my last post. Was unrelated.

I dug a bit further and found that vminvoice_config table contains set (changed) parameters, but still sends default.

Also, in settings, I have product image disabled from showing on invoice, but it still shows it.

Hi, ended up being a DNS related issue with propagation not being finished and this now works,

There is still an issue of not being able to save HTML and Email Invoice settings (says it's saved but it isn't).

I changed servers, and on new server I get following error when I try to do anything with it.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 523800 bytes) in home/xxxxx/public_html/administrator/components/com_vminvoice/libraries/tcpdf/tcpdf.php on line 18055

IT worked fine on last server, so I know it's a server issue, but which specific settings do we need so hosts can fix whatever is required.

I might look into that later. In the meantime I'll have to use state_name and I can change it in the code when i get a chance. Thought there might be something I missed.

Might be a good idea to have that as a feature in future releases, there are probably other countries which use state 3 code.
