Any chance of a reply to this? An iJoomla extension would be great for JoomSEF.

Can anyone tell me how to stop JoomSEF chaning the url of my homepage to www.mysite.com/home. The 'home'part is taken from the name of the menu item. This is my iJoomla magazine component which is set as my default homepage.

JoomSEF doesn't do this with com_frontpage so I am guessing it can be done.

Hi, I can't solve your problem but I think I know how to turn it off for that component (i think!). In the administration part of your site at the JoomSEF component sections, if you click on ARTIO JoomSEF Configuration which is the top left button, on the page that opens up down the bottom there is a Component Configuration section. I think this is where you turn off JoomSEF for individual components including iJoomla.

Do you have iJoomla magazine as your home page? Do you have problems with your site creating a url such as www.mysite.com/xxx/ ?

I use iJoomla magazine as my default homepage. JoomSEF is setting the homepage url as www.mysite.com/home and any other links relating to the component have /home/ before them. How do I change it to show only www.mysite.com/ without the 'Home' tag.

I did search the forum but couldn't find anything. The FAQ isn't exhaustive enough.
