The site is using JoomSEF 3.5.5 and this version apparently doesn't have the Title & Meta Tag tab. Can this option be found in another place, or is this new functionality?

I've disabled the meta tag generation in the Manage Extensions - Content option, but this only stops new metatags from being generated, not from being shown.

Do I have to upgrade to the latest JoomSEF version to have the functionality of not showing the meta tags?

I have already disabled the metatag generation in the JoomSEF Configuarion section, so since then no more metatags are generated by JoomSEF. This works fine.

The problem is that there are hundreds of articles in the database which have the JoomSEF metatags. Since I don't want to use those, I was wondering how to get rid of them. Should this be done manually for every article (in JoomSEF Manage SEF URLs), or is there another faster way?

I've been telling my client to enter sensible metatags with every article, but only now I realised that JoomSEF is generating metatags and meta descriptions itself.
So, as a first step I disabled the metatag and meta description generation in Manage Extensions.

Is there a way to remove all the JoomSEF metatags and meta descriptions in the Manage SEF URLs option automatically? There are hundreds of articles in the database, so doing it manually would take quite some time.

What is the most sensible way to solve this problem?

Any input is appreciated.

I've been struggling with this problems for days now and I am getting a bit frustrated. Or can I find somewhere some more detailed documentation on how to set up JoomSEF with JoomFish?

Just installed JoomSEF 3.6.2. on my local system. After submitting the contact form, I go to the right page (so after submitting a Dutch page, a go to a Dutch page, etc.).
However, on my live site (same JoomSEF version) where French is the default language, after submitting a Dutch or English contact form, I end up at the French page.
I have searched all over, but I cannot see the difference between the two systems. I guess it must be a simple flag/variable that is set wrongly,but I can't find it.

De SEF URL's have the contact name (module com_contact) in the URL, but I don't like the look of that. It now looks like /mysite/contact/john.

How can I disable this?
