Hi folks,
I have installed the latest free version of JoomSEF.
I had sh404sef installed previously. I removed that and removed its tables from the DB.

JoomSEF has installed fine and the admin works. But all links come up with 404 errors.

I have checked the link tables in the back end and most have a valid joomla URI associated with them. I can copy and paste any of those URIs into my browser and they work. A few have a blank URI which ain't right. But only a few.

I have double checked my htacess... seems fine.

Not sure what else to check.

Please advise.
