Looking to purchase Joom SEF but am already running \"SEF patch extended version 1.0a\"

(1) Given that my Joomla version is as follows \" Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable [ Sunfire ]\" - is there any compatibility issues?

(2) Will these products compliment each other? i.e. one does the Meta tags and JoomSEF rewrites the URLs?
