When I clean the redirects, I have them all perfect, no doubles.
And after a while it's online, I get -2.html -3.html etc,...
How is this possible?
And why does it change so many time the pages?
This is not good at all for SEO !
Google needs pages that don't change from real url name !
Once a page is created, it should NEVER change from name.

h1 tags instead of content heading in the titles would be the next big SEO hack.

Can you fix this? (or can I do this by changing the settings in the bot?)


Some question, I need an answer on:
- where was the problem?
- what do I have to do to keep this fixed next time a do an online update
- will the bug be fixed with the next update?

I think I won't update for a long time now, if it works like this.

haha, i just ran into your topic, tried it out and was gonna post the same conclusion. Thanks it fixed my JCE problem.
I already like the 301 function. (I hope the Artio people start working on the other bugs now, or at least reply to any posts, I think they are on vacation ;-)

Since the update yesterday I can't get access to JCEs image manager, even when it is skipped in the artio config.
This is only in the frontend, not in the backend. So I'm sure it's the prob with JoomSEF.

It's a real problem all the pages change names every time I purge.

UPDATE:
OK, now I am so far:
I think the cache is between this, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
1. The custom urls work now (great !)
2. The standaard urls don't work anymore. (same as problem above), &lt;title&gt; is wrong meta title is ok
I get nothing on the page title, but in the code it's ok:

I have some idea's to make this extension even better:

- change titles to H1 tags
- auto meta tags from content
- meta tags in Title
- ability to edit the way the metaTitle is build up (f.e. section - content - sitename )
- meta Site description = first content item from page or content item (now I got the news item showing on every googlehit, all the same, bad for ranking, or after removing, I got the topmenu listed as description in google. check: site:www.encounters.be in google

I like several sh404SEF and JoomSEO functions.

I exported my custom urls when I installed 2.0.2
Now I import my urls in 1.5.0 and that doesn't work!

Weeks of hard work lost????? :-(

It's seems that the metabot 1.30 is the only one that is good working (came with the 1.5.0 release)

Please Artio, give us some good solutions. What about updating the metabot?

I can't understand why Artio doesn't fix this bug? In fact that there's so bad support, is getting me a bit mad, I was trusting this software and now I loose weeks of hard work by this update.
If this was a good working extension with good support I was thinking of buying the commercial version.

The custom titles are not showing. And this is very important for the SEO.
I will have to reïnstall 1.5.0 now, to solve this bug.

Or will there come a patch? (I don't like the manual update)
