I would like to apologize for my outburst, JoomSEF is not perfect but it works well. When I have time I will look through the database for any kind of cached urls. Thank you.

Why should I give you more money? You should fix this...?layout=blog is not even a joomla variable, &layout=blog is, and this just tells me that it's JoomSEF. This menu links to a Category blog layout...that's it, nothing special. I've had nothing but trouble with this component since I bought it. I upgraded to the latest version hoping things would be fixed and it's buggy, it would not save configuration changes so I had to export my links, uninstall it, install the 4.2.3 version and reconfigure it from scratch...I spent a whole evening after hours trying to figure this out...so no, I won't purchase any "special support" I'll purchase another component instead. Perhaps others will give me better support that doesn't say things like please check your "Custom non-SEF variables" option in JoomSEF's Advanced configuration and in Manage Extensions -> Content -> Common tab parameters. Also check your Manage Extensions -> Content -> Variables filtering configuration. - What the hell am I checking for? You should tell me how it's suppose to be configured, "Check" doesn't tell me how it ought to be configured. No, sorry, I won't be spending any more money at "ARTIO" so check that.

Hi, I have checked each one of those settings. I added ?layout=blog to custom non-SEF variables, also on the common tab in manage extensions->content and on the variables filtering. I checked to make sure there is only 1 meet-our-team link and there is only one. Can you tell me why this link acts that way? What else can I check?
Thanks,
Luke

Did this ever get resolved? I'm having trouble with the same issue with one of my links, even after recreating the link and deleting the sef entry and creating another one.

I have one joomsef url (coatsandbennett.com/meet-our-team?layout=blog) that has ?layout=blog appended and I can't figure out how to fix it. I have "Add layout to URL" set to never in manage extensions->content. Default layout is set to Default but I've tried it with both default and blog, cleared joomsef cache, joomla cache, browser cache. Can you tell me why only this one link does this? I have deleted and recreated the menu link in the joomla menu also.
Another thing is if I edit the meet-our-team url to be something like meet-our-team/attorneys then it works fine, however I don't want it to have /attorneys at the end and furthermore when someone edits on of the articles on that page it messes the whole thing up (displays a list of links instead of the articles) when I have it set that way. Any help on why this one link is so troublesome would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I was having some issues with the front end editor when JoomSEF is enabled. First it was giving me an error when I tried to save an article using the front end editor...it would say the alias is already being used and would not save my changes. This happened for any article. I updated to Joomla 2.5.1 and now the front end editor will not even come up when JoomSEF is enabled. Please help!
