OK tested some more.
When the relative url of one language matches the relative url of another (which means for frontpage "/" too) the cache gets fucked up. As "always use language" won't work while using "different domains" Ill try to have a look at the code tomorrow.

I'm running Joomla 1.5.14 with JoomSEF 3.4.1 + JoomFish 2.0.3 and I have to manage 8 languages via different domains which works pretty well as long as the system cache plugin is disabled.

When I enable system cache plugin only the first cached language gets displayed no matter which language is selected.

So if i clean the cache and open mydomain.com everything shows up in english which is fine but if i'm switching to french for example (mydomain.fr) all content shows up in english as well. It's obvious that the previously cached content gets displayed because vars like <base href> are still set to mydomain.com.

Any ideas? Or some hint which files are involved in the caching and "domain setting" process?
