Ich weiß jetzt nicht mehr so genau - aber ich glaub ich hab auch im Code was geändert. Aber BITTE(!!) in diesem Fall mach einen Override (d.h., dass Du eine Kopie der Datei mit dem geänderten Code im Template ablegst - google mal danach wen Du Dich nicht auskennst)
Ind nochmal mein Hinweis: nimm FileLocatorLight und such im entpackten Booking nach dem String der nicht übersetzt wird. Entweder ist der String selbst in der Übersetzung nicht vorhanden oder er steht hardcoded im der PHP

Greetings,
I running BookIt 2.3.8 with Joomla 3.6.5 and FaLang 2.8.2 (Apache/2.4.25 PHP 5.5.38)
Right now (don't know whether since Upgrade to Joomla 3.6.5 or FaLang to 2.8.2 or whatever the reason might be) I get an Error 500 at backend whenever I want to translate some "Booking Supplement" or "Booking Reservation Type"
Enclosed the two responding XML-Files.... any Ideas?

Die Situation bei der Übersetzung ist wirklich chaotisch. Jede Datei hat unterschiedliche Länge an Zeilen, Ausdrücke fehlen oder sind falsch, es ist fast unmöglich, dieses Chaos zu verwalten.
Ich fragte das artio Team bei www.transifex.com ein Projekt einzurichten, habe aber keine Antwort erhalten. Auch wenn ich denke, dass eine perfekte Sprachunterstützung ein richtiger Boost für die Software wäre.
Die andere Lösung ist es, eine strukturierte Übersetzung im Forum zu organisieren.
Der erste Punkt ist, dass es eine führende Sprache geben muss und da Englisch die häufigste Sprache in IT ist denke ich, es die beste Wahl diese als Ausgangssprache zu verwenden.
Ich werde mit der deutschen Sprache zu starten und einen weiteren Thread mit Titel "Structured Übersetzung Deutsch" eröffnen.
Jeder ist willkommen, das mit anderen Sprachen zu tun.
Ich habe eine Excel-Datei mit einer Tabelle für jede Sprachdatei (z.B. SITE_com_booking.ini)erstellt, eine für fehlenden Seiten in Deutsch und eine für Strings nur in deutscher Sprache.
Jeder der mitmachen will, kann fehlende Strings zu übersetzen und eine neue Version veröffentlichen.
Bitte beachtet, dass benutzerdefinierte Übersetzungen die nur für das eigene Projekt nützlich sind, als Override in Eurer Joomla-Installation festgelegt werden sollten |

The situation with translation is really chaotic. Every file has different length in lines, expressions are missing or wrong, it's nearly impossible to manage that confusion.
I asked the artio team to set up a project at www.transifex.com but did not get an answer. Even if I think, that perfect language support would be a real boost for the software.
The other solution is to organize a structured translation in the forum,
The first point is, that there must be a leading language and as English is the most common language in IT I think this will be the best choice.
I'll start with German language and open another thread wit title "structured translation German"
You are welcome to do so with other languages.
I created an Excel-file with a spreadsheet for every language file (e.g. SITE_com_booking.ini), one for missing strings in German and one for strings only available in German.
So everybody who wants to help can translate missing strings and post a new Version.
Please note, that custom translations that are only useful for your project should be set in language overrides in your Joomla installation |

Somebody who knows really NOTHING about spanish language worked on it and he also forgot to set quotation marks at the right place

Hi,there is an error in falang file "booking_subject.xml" - in section translation filters.
So if yo check "created|modified" you get the error:

Update: "Preis/Tag" (means price per day) I had to translate in FaLang
Problem with booking of same article at same period (with different supplements):
When I enable "multiple reservations" in the backend configuration, I only can select one single day (from-to is gone) and it's not possible to press the "book it" button

Greetings,
I'm webmaster for a site that rents bicycles (in DE/EN/ES with FaLang).
There are different bikes and every bike has different frame-sizes.
So I added the frame-size as supplement.
Now, after 2 years of running the site a customer told us, that it's impossible to book 2 bikes (same item) with different frame-sizes for the same period. And I'm quite sure that this worked in the past.

the other thing is, that the total price on the booking site always shows in German, even if the same string is present in the en- and es-file (it's /language/xx/xx.com_booking.ini [TOTAL_PRICE] xx stands for language-code)
I prooved by changing the string in German language file and exactly this string showed also in EN and ES.

Und wo Du die Sprachdateien findest sollte doch nicht so schwer zu finden sein, oder?
A sind die Sprachdateien ja standardmässig in "/language/" bzw "/administrator/Language/" abgespeichert,
B findest Du die entsprechendan Dateien im INstallationspaket und die zugehörigen Pfade in der xml-Datei im Installationsroot

I already updated to v 2, problem still the same. But right now low priority..
There is another issue: even if I configure to show "Book It" button on bottom of calendar ist shows on top (tested on IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
But one thing I can confirm: with Joomla 3 works perfect on mobile devices...
PS: please find a solution for your languagefiles.
