I have successfully installed JoomSEF Free Edition onto my Windows 2003 Server which is running on a IIS 6.0. I was getting familiar with the software. Soon I pressed the "Manage SEF Urls" button on the Control Button, I got a white screen. I turned on the Error Reporter on my php.ini file to see why I was getting this white screen. It seems that the max execution time was reached. I changed the "max_execution_time = 30" to "max_execution_time = 60". I then tested the "Manage SEF Urls" link again, and still got the same problem. Only this time it would time out at 60 seconds. However, I came back a few hours later and pressed the button again (Manage SEF Urls). It seems to work now and I can see the page. I would like to know if there are any suggestions on handling this situation so I won't get the time out I did before. My server is pretty slow in processor. It has 897 MHz and 896 MB of Ram. Suggestions will be appreciated. Also, I do intend to purchase after testing and seeing if it is useful.
