is there any way/ rule we can add so joomsef will ignore category pages like this one: www.aleamarket.gr/index.php?option=com_v...y_id=26&Itemid=1
i dont want to use another menu module i just want category pages to be ignored

i have delete the .htaccess file and i see that my website is still accessible so this might be the problem
i use lighttpd server, does JoomSEF support it? if yes how i can make it to always use .htaccess?

i have just install JoomSEF with virtuemart plugin but when i enable JoomSEF i get error 404 everywhere. where could be the problem? also i dont get a sef link for every category my website has, only for some of them
