TOPIC: wrong metadata generation

wrong metadata generation 12 years, 1 month ago #34009

Hi.

I am using Joomla 2.5.7 with K2 2.5.4

The problem I have is that my online articles metadata information such as Description, key words etc. do not match those which I put into Joomla Metadata admin part.

So for example I set up the key words in Joomla admin for this article www.lochneska.cz/aupair-anglie-anglii as

'aupair, Anglie, au pair Británie, au pair agentury' (see the attachment)

while the page source of the same article which has been published however shows it as

<meta name="keywords" content="vám, vás, jsem, jsou, můžete, rodiny, rodina, tedy" />

It is in Czech language however I hope you can see that none of the keywords actually match.

What can I do to fix it please?

JomSEF will create meta tags for your artcile by scanning the content and pulling out key words. So there is no need to add these to the articles in Joomla as it is created. But if you want to edit the key words that JomSEF has created the go to the meta tag manager in Artio SEF and find your article and edit the meta tags and descriptions and save them.
