The configuration file for VirtueMart is missing! 13 years, 9 months ago #19819

When I tried to test cron job with "www.mysite.com/?option=com_vminvoice&...view=vminvoice" in a browser I get an error "The configuration file for VirtueMart is missing!".

File /administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php exists in requested directory.

Any idea? Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I have searched the sources and no such error message is generated by VM Invoice. So it must be coming from somewhere else.
Can you send more details on where and when the error occurs?

Hi Jan,

you can replicate error on www.sisi.si.

Before setting a cron job I tried in browser "www.sisi.si/?option=com_vminvoice&ta...iew=vminvoice", and response as you can see is "The configuration file for VirtueMart is missing!".

And you are right: response isn't generated by VM Invoice. This error string can be found in VM file components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart_parser.php.

But I still have no idea why and how this error happens and how to get rid of it.

Unfortunatelly I am a newbie in VM+Joomla combination so any help would be apriciated.

Hello,
I would guess it must be some problems with configured paths. Do you have them set correctly.
And do you have the latest version of VM Invoice?

Hi,

I have the same problem "The configuration file for VirtueMart is missing!
It should be here: /administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php"

I tried it on 3 differend websites an it is always the same.

does it happen exactly in the same situation as described aboved?
Whar are your VM Invoice, VirtueMart & Joomla versions?
