TOPIC: Problem with page break and long footer

Problem with page break and long footer 11 years, 9 months ago #36178

Hi.
we have a quite long footer, and we have a problem with invoices > 1 page.

I've set up page breaks as in the image, but if I create an order with items which needs 2 pages, I get a third page without any item and just totals.

If I move the second page break before signature, I the invoice has two pages but one of the two footer tables get spread accross the two pages.

I prefeer to have the pagebreak before signature, so that the footer gets printed only on the last page, but how do I avoid splitting the table in two between pages?
thanks

I managed not to split the table by using {lastpage} tags. Rows are not split but the table is opened on the previous page...

Hello,

tag {lastpage} is usable only in footer, but you are using it in body, right? If you use it in footer, is it correct for you?
Or you used it in footer, but it is so long, that it starts on previous page?

I'm using it in body, because I want this box only on the last page....

Ok, I understand, but {lastpage} is conditional block and it is usable only in Footer. But if it helped you this way? You can try to hack it more and add there something like:

{lastpage}<br />...{/lastpage}

It should make next row and maybe it will help you to start table really on next page.

I am not sure how to do this in different way and if this will not help you, I will consult it with developers.

hm maybe I can move the {lastpage} block on the footer... I don't need to keep it into the body anymore, if it's printed only on the last page!!

Thanks maju!
