TOPIC: pdf as index.exe file

Re: pdf as index.exe file 13 years, 4 months ago #22880

Dear Jan
Sorry to say so, but I personally think you make your live a bit easy by just refering to the server. We installed about 15 Jommla Webpages on this provider and everything works fine for years. It is only your new update, which does not want to produce pdf files....
So I think, as we all payed for this extension, you should provide a bit more of a solution than just hand to problem over to the sever or us.
Again, sorry to say so, but if you want so sell your extension, it must work well not just...
I switch back to invoice 1.0 which is, regarded to its well function options, still the best version so far. Again, this is my opinion.

Regards
Klaus

Just testet a bit:

on Mac:

Works fine in:
Opera v. 11.50
Safari v. 5.0.5
Chrome v. 13.0.782.41

Does not work in:
Firefox 5.0
Firefox 3.5.18
(I do not ha the firefox 4 version, so can not test in that)

This looks like a firefox compability problem - witch it is from firefox or invoice is hard to say, but it looks like it is a problem from invoice - if the old version works.)

I just liked to test it myself.
But as I do not like to test it on the live site running I installed a test backup. Bad luck: the update cannot be installed on a test-site :-((.

I think there should be urgently a possiblity to install it on a second URL as a test site. You should always give the opportunity for the reason one can check its function first on a non-live site than have the live shop to break down if there would be a bug.

Klaus

Hello,

seems there was some headers problems in combination with some browsers in 1.5.1.
Please, upgrade to 1.5.2. This problem should be fixed there.

Hi Jan

Thank you for the fix. Now it works fine!
I realy like the way you did the edit form. Very well done!

Still, there is a small problem. The app does not count the tax value.

I added a sreen shot, so you could see, what I mean.

Thanks!

Regards, Klaus

Hi,
well I can see that the tax rate is set to 0%, so logically, there no tax calculated.
