Hi. The customer search query in getter.php:getAjaxUserList is exausthing for the server! we have more than 2500 customers, and on every keypress (even with a single character) the query is performed, and on a DEDICATED joomla server it takes TWO MINUTES! IT's useless.

Two improvements:
* remove useless search fields (city, address_type_name). It would be great to have email in the search query as well, but being it not optimized still takes ages!
* execute the query after at least two characters has been entered, and after the user stopped typing for at least one or two seconds

Hello. Thanks for your suggestions. We will implement it when we will have free time.
In mean time, you can try to add indexes to your VM tables. Indexes can dramatically improve search time in database (on the contrary, updating record can be little slower, but that is definitelly not an issue for you).
Namely to fields: first_name, last_name, address_type_name, company, city and address_type_name in table #__virtuemart_userinfos. Let us know if it helped you.
