Hi there

Order number: 17309

ArtioSEF version no.3.4.0

Joomla 1.6.3

Currently my URLs are displaying www.sitename/category/article alias

How do I get them to display www.sitename/article alias

I have checked the documentation and couldn't find anything about this.

Hello,

first of all let me mention that JoomSEF 3.x is not compatible with Joomla 1.6.
So one of the versions you state must be wrong.

To choose, what should be part of the URL for content items, please, go to
JoomSEF / Manage Extensions / Content and set the options as desired there.

Thanks for your help.

I have updated to the correct version of ArtioSEF, changed the category setting in the content extension to "no", updated the URLs, cleared the cache but the categories are still displaying in the URLs.

What else do I need to do?
