When I click on Update URLs, the page goes blank and does nothing. Is there a fix to this? thanks.

Hello,
the problem is that JoomSEF updates all the URLs at once, which may lead to timeout or memory limit exceeded.

It will be fixed in the next release, that should be published during this week.
