Maybe I did buy some support time :)

I purchase Artio twice for 1 install. The upgrade was not working, so I repurchase the whole thing over again hoping a fresh install would work.

Neither the upgrade nor the full install fixed the problem.

I had Artio 3.21 working perfect for the last 6 months. These problems happeneding when I upgraded to 3.3

If you are able to apply my second Artio purchase towards support that would be most appreciated. I really like the program, just with back-up and cache not working it is a problem.

We can consider further steps after that. :-)

kpenner, the variable name in PHP is case-sensitive, right variable name is 'cacheFLock' - with 'L' in upper case.
To solve you problem, change "cacheFlock" to "cacheFLock" in file "sef.cache.php" on line 182, 189, 201
