It seems to be a probem with the corner.js (www.netzgesta.de/corner/) but i don't understand why. Maybe a timeout problem ?

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

I am sorry I do not see any relation between JoomSEF and the problem you describe.
JoomSEF simply translates some of the Joomla URLs so it should have absolutelly no relation to whether your site will display in some specific browser or not.

More likely, your problem might be in the .js file you mention - maybe it uses some functions / syntax that IE6 does not support. But I would not see a relation to JoomSEF there. Simply try to comment the file out and you will see if the site starts to show up. If so, then you will need to trace the error in the file.

Me too, I do not see the relation with JoomSEF and corner.js :
- JoomSEF : OFF / corner.js : ON => IE6 = OK
- JoomSEF : ON / corner.js : ON => IE6 = 2 error messages : one that "Internet cannot open the site...Operation cancelled" and the second message about a js error "document.body" is null or not a object line : 20 char : 23004 code : 0
- JoomSEF : ON / corner.js : OFF (with a conditionnal comment) => IE6 = OK

The problem is that i have difficulties to debug js on ie6. I don't know how to do or what tools i can use for debug js on ie6.

I agree, IE6 is extremelly difficult to debug.
Could it be that the corner.js script is reffering to the site URLs? What is the purpose of this script?

This script make image with rounded corner. If i had a css class "rounded" the script detect it and generate rounded corners.
