I checked it.
Well, it partially does make sense. However, the problem described there is not purely JoomSEF problem.
It is problem related to incompability of sh404sef and JoomSEF which were sharing the same DB table. (so I assume you had sh404sef installed before).
We have resolved this incompatibility in the latest JoomSEF version and renamed the table we use, so there should be no more conflicts in future.
Anyway, if you are using version 3.3.x, you should not have this problem.
