TOPIC: index.jsp files and 301 redirect??

index.jsp files and 301 redirect?? 14 years, 11 months ago #9508

Hi

We have moved a website from a solution that uses index.jsp files ex. www.domain.com/index.jsp?c=3128&exp=3128.

The webiste that originally was not hosted on a joomla solution.

We want to permanent redirect this to example: www.domain.com/snowreport/ but we are not able to do so.

When i use the 301 redirect and try to put inn index.jsp?c=3128&exp=3128 in the Old Non-Sef Url i get a message that The old Non-Sef url must begin with index.php.

What do i do to make sure i am able to use the 301 redirect without the system asking for the index.php?, or am i doing something wrong here? Our client has more that 1000 urls indexed in google and we urgent need to fix this.

Does anyone know?

Regards Powder
