JoomSEF v3.2.11
SEF extension 2.0.1

Order : 4217

I manage a joomla 1.0 site with over 5600 products and 13000 category
I had purchased JoomSEF v2.3.0, no particular problems

We are migrating the site to joomla 1.5.9 / VM 1.1.3.

We have set "Disable creation of new SEF URLs?" to NO, because we haven't imported older redirections

When i'm on the site, i've the php error :



I've set memory_limit to 128M (32M was enough to the previous version of your script) but it's not enough !!!

Could you help me to search a solution ?

I do not see a reason why JoomSEF would need so much memory... unfortunatelly, you do not write when exactly this error message occurs?
Why do you think it is connected with JoomSEF?

If these option is set to YES, the website is OK but a lot of redirections are missing

I don't understand why joomsef v3 takes so much memory where as we have not problems with joomsef v2...

Maybe joomsef v3 can not browse our configuration ? we have 13000 categories (with 4 levels's depth of nested categories) and 5000 products

I am wondering, if those 13000 categories are all included on one page? (e.g. in multi-level menu?)
It seems like JoomSEF is trying to load and remember too many URLs on one page.
But you say it occurs only when creation of new URLs is disabled? We have to check this in sources.

Hi,
Artio v3 works best on a more powerful server but we are obliged to increase the memory_limit variable.

We have : memory_limit = 64M but is there a way to know which function takes as much resources?
