Hi!

It seems that Eventlist 1.0rc does not work with JoomSEF. It is not possible to add events or a location through the frontent and it is not possible to register yourself for an event.

Setting com_eventlist on skip does not solve this.

Any solution?

Hello,

if you set the setting to skip then JoomSEF ignores all URLs of given component. I believe there must be some other problem -- or you did not clear some cache after you changed the setting. Otherwise I cannot explain why it would not work on skip.

As regards compatibility with Eventlist, we have not tested it. If you need that working, we can custom develop an extension for you.

Thx for your answer. I deleted Joomla and Joom SEF Cache but the problem still extists, although the component is on skip. The user gets redirected to the frontpage when he tries to add a location or an event.

A plugin would be great. At the moment i see no alternative component with the same functionality as eventlist. Any hint for me? Perhaps i can switch the component?
