Sorry for placing the post twise firstime i placed the post in ths wrong category.

Order id - 14068
JoomSEF
Version: 3.7.6
Virtuemart extention 2.0.34

My problem is the same in the newest vertion of joomsef. My problem is that urls for pages with appended veriables like orderby get alterd like they were run through the php htmlspecialchars function before they are used in the url.
& turns in to &
Example:
/butik/begagnad-restaurangutrustning.html?limit=50&limitstart=0&orderby=product_price&DescOrderBy=DESC

how the url is suposed to look:
/butik/begagnad-restaurangutrustning.html?limit=50&limitstart=0&orderby=product_price&DescOrderBy=DESC

after this when google crawls the page urls is retrived like
/butik/begagnad-restaurangutrustning.html?limit=50&amp%3Blimitstart=0&amp%3Borderby=product_price&amp%3BDescOrderBy=DESC

witch results in that google throws a Redirect Notice when they click on the link.
Can you help me with this?

Also can you help me find the funktion that generates the url with apended veriables? And is it possible to get an addon for virtuemart category dtree script?

it is correct behaviour if this happens in the source code of the page, otherwise the source would not validate.
So unless it is not double encoded (&amp&) I guess the problem is somewhere else.

Sorry, but do not undertand this. What function you mean? And what would be add-on for "virtuemart category dtree script"?

I get this problem when i in virtuemart try to go to the next page in a virtuemart category. For example the link is page 1:

/butik/begagnad-restaurangutrustning.html

link to page 2 is:
/butik/begagnad-restaurangutrustning.html?limit=50&limitstart=50&orderby=product_price&DescOrderBy=DESC


and that is what is shown in the browser url feald.

Well, I have not experienced this on other sites.

For sure:
1. upgrade JoomSEF to latest version
2. make sure there are no other plugins active that might be parsing and modyfiing the page source code AFTER JoomSEF

If neither of that help, then only chance to learn more about the cause would be debugging the code directly at your site.
