JoomSEF works fine on the first level www. xxxxx. de/joomla.html

When clicking a link for the scond level, I got an 404 Error

I changed the Rewrite base to /joomla/ or to /html/joomla/ I get an 500 Error on hte first level, the same RewriteBase without the last "/" leads also to an 500 Error.

Any Ideas????

Chris

Hi,

if your site base URL is:

then the RewriteBase setting may either stay commented out (however, in some cases that may cause problems) or it should be RewriteBase / (that is what I recommend).
