My url keeps putting in SOBI2 no matter what I do. What's controlling this?

Using:
J 1.5.10
JoomSEF v3.3.2
SOBI Ext v2.0.5

Config========================
Ignore multiple sources: Use global config
Itemid handling: Use global config
Override Itemid:
Custom non-SEF variables:
Use site name: No
Custom site name: storelocations

Add contact ID to URL: No
Add categories to URL: Only last one
Add category ID to URL: No
Preventing duplicates: Use 'root' category

Real URL: index.php?option=com_sobi2&catid=3&Itemid=locations
SEF URL: sobi2/3-locations.html

I should also mention none of my entry detail pages work. Plus categories no longer work, they simply list ALL of the entries in one category! HELP!

1. make sure JoomSEF is active; based on the URL you have listed, I have a suspision JoomSEF may not be enabled at your site
2. sobi2 part of the URL can be supressed by ticking the check box next to the extension name in the JoomSEF configuration. That will cause that all URLs generated by the component will start directly in root.

I was able to remove SOBI in the category URL string using your suggestion but not the entries. They kept 404'ing. I sent an email to support to escalate this...

you mention you are using "geo-categories plugin". What exactly does this plugin?
Could you try the functionality, when the plugin is off? Just Joomla + plain SOBI2 + JoomSEF + JoomSEF SOBI2 extension?
