hi all,

only recently I bought and installed virtuemart extension and it works perfectly fine, only one issue: when I have few products within the same category which has same product name, their sef url are generated all the same, eg "../shirts/polo-shirt" for all products named "polo shirt". and when i click to any of those same named products, only one product opens. therefore I couldnt use this extension so far because of this.

please can you advise how to sort this out?

Hello,

this is the "prevent duplicate URLs" function.
You have several options:
1) disable it, then you will get URLs like
polo-shirt
polo-shirt-2
polo-shirt-3
...
(this solution is possible, but not recommended, as it could affect URLs also in other cases; possible duplicated content is not good for the site SEO)

2) rename the products - add some "virtual" ID to product name
e.g. Polo Shirt (type 1) then URL will b polo-shirt-type-1

3) adjust the URLs manually after they are generated in URL Manager
