My JoomSEF title tags are not showing. The normal Joomla titles are. How do I override the Joomla setting?

In the JoomSEF admin, under view SEF Urls in a page, there is this:

"Please note that JoomSEF Mambot must be installed and published for meta tag functionality to be working.
You may also wish to deactivate Joomla! standard meta tag generation in your site global configuration."

That doesn't help me. How do I know if that Mambot is installed? If not, where do I get it? How do I deactivate the Joomla standard meta tag generation in the site global configuration? There is nothing there in that config that allows me to deactivate it that I can find? What's it called there? Under what tab?

Please be specific if you know the answer.

I'm a web developer by trade, so I'm not exactly inexperienced or stupid, but I'm feeling pretty lost now. There just isn't enough information for me to fix this problem.

Come on Artio. Are you there? We purchased this software to be able to customize meta data, title tags and URLs, yet we get none of that. None of it is working. Can you please let us know how to get your software to work? We've read the documentation. We'll need to ask for a refund I guess unless we get a response soon, but we'd rather not.

JoomSEF metabot can be found among other Joomla system plugins. Its title is "System - ARTIO JoomSEF".
It is installed and activated together with JoomSEF and by default, no changes are needed.

However, if you are using other component and/or plugins that might work with metadata, you need to make sure they do not collide with JoomSEF and do not override the metadata set by it. If you are using such, you may need to disable them or at least adjust the plugin ordering so that these do not override data se by JoomSEF.

Settings of JoomSEF plugin can be check in plugin settings. (anyway, there are no changes needed with default setting)

You should also read the forum rules, as regards posting here. You have give no information about your versions or any other info that might bring light into the problem. You can also give examples of URLs for which the metadata do not show. You can also test this by testing on clean Joomla install. It should work there without any speacial adjustments. If it works there, but it does not work on your site, then there might be a conflict as mentioned above. The disfuctionality may be also caused by custom adjustmens in Joomla or incorectly written template.

I found the JoomSEF metabot and saw that the settings are correct. I have no other SEF component installed. The only one I could find is the system one. I deactivated that in the plugin manager to no effect, but did not uninstall it because it came with Joomla and I was afraid that might break something.

We are using a Rockettheme template with no custom modifications. This site is as simple as they come. Very few if any extensions installed. They are in Joomla 1.5.7 www.tfmattorneys.com/

I've used Artio on another Rockettheme site with no problems. This site is a very complex site with many extensions installed. There were some conflicts, but I turned those extensions off in the JoomSEF config. They are in Joomla 1.5.4. Legacy mode. Works fine here but not in the site in question.

I'm attaching some screenshots of my settings. Please let me know if there is anything wrong.
