I'm having a pre purchase question about this extension

I have currently 3 joomgallery related menu items:

component link:
index.php?option=com_joomgallery (itemID 19)

link to categry 1:
index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=viewcategory&catid=2&Itemid=20

link to category 2:
index.php?option=com_joomgallery&func=viewcategory&catid=2&Itemid=21

the uri type links to the categories require its own itemID to being added so when active the moomenu item would be highlighted as active

my question:
with only J! SEO turned the pathway of any of the above links would revert to 'Home' only and the selected menu item is not being highlighted anymore

is this also the case with the Joom extension installed or is the pathway appropriately built and the active menu item being highlighted?
