TOPIC: Some issues with version 3.2.12

Some issues with version 3.2.12 15 years, 6 months ago #6882

Hello!

First of all, I'd like to say, that I love Artio JomSEF. My profile URLs look really good and otherwise I'm also happy with this extension. But unfortunately I have two problems:

1. This problem appeared, as I upgraded from 3.2.9 to 3.2.12: All my anchors point to the mainsite, not to the current site as they should. I can remember, that there was a setting named "Base href" in the configuration of version 3.2.9. In the newest version I am missing this line.

2. I have a component, which I handle in Artio JomSEF as "nocache", because this extension uses it's own SEF file and it requires mod_rewrite and .htaccess. Everything is ok except for the searchresults in this component. This extension manages World of Warcraft hunterpets.
When I look at a petpage, the URL should look like this:
http://www.wow-wildtiere.com/tierfamilien/wildheit/kernhunde/roter-kernhund/lavanthor

But when I search for "Lavanthor" in the database (http://www.wow-wildtiere.com/tierfamilien/suche), I get this result:
http://www.wow-wildtiere.com/component/wowpets/wildheit/kernhunde/roter-kernhund/lavanthor
This URL leads me to the mainsite of the component, but this is not my intention :-)

Can somebody help me with my problems? The second issue is the only thing that prevents me from buying this great component. I would really like to remove the backlinks ;-)

Thanks in advance,
Camee

Edit: I found a third problem :-) I didn't define any file suffixes in the configuration, but there is only one URL with a suffix: http://www.wow-wildtiere.com/community.html This is very strange.

Hello,

ad problem 1), see JoomSEF FAQ #18
ad problem 2), if the settings is "nocache" in JoomSEF, then the SEF URLs are handled by router.php file located in the component directory; if some of the URLs do not work correctly, the problem will be most likely in this file; the router.php is usually written by the component author, so if something is wrong with it, please, ask the author to check it
ad problem 3) this URL may be cached or created otherwise... if it is stored in JoomSEF database, you can always edit it manually

Hello,
thank you for the quick reply.

ad 1: Thank you for the link.

ad 2: With JomSEF disabled, the URLs work well. This is the reason why I assumed, the problem is located in JomSEF.

ad 3: Ok, that works
