TOPIC: SEO won't display section

SEO won't display section 18 years ago #928

I had a previous install of JoomSEF displaying the section as part of the url. However, it was on my dev site which shares the same mysql database as the full site. So I uninstalled on the dev site, and put it on the public site and now I can't get the section to display as part of the url. I can get the category to display, but that makes the site look redundant. Also, can't get any of the new addresses to register in the URL manager, they all end up in the custom redirects. Is there something that isn't uninstalling? I have uninstalled 3 times now!

Same here...I've been using 404 for a year and just changed to this. Uel's are being made but ALL are in Custom. This is no good because I use an RSS component and I have 100's of URL's.

Is this related to the previous 404SEF which DID make the url's?

Thanks

Hello,

we are sorry for this issue, by mistake there has been released wrong patch for the installation file.

Please, download the package once more and reinstall. This issue should be fixed now. The version has not changed yet, it is still 1.2.5.

Best regards,
Jirka
