hello,

I have rewrite keywords and description set to off in the plugin settings. Yet they keep replacing my joomla meta information. If i set Enable MetaData generation to no, it works, but i want my sitename to appear before the pagename in the title, and that does not work then.

Any idea what is wrong?

Hi!

After set to off rewrite keywords and description did you Purge URLs? If not, then you should do this ...and then I guess it will work normally (optional you can Clean Cache - but it's not needed)

How about the site name, go here: Extensions -> Plugins -> System - ARTIO JoomSEF and here you have options for site name : "Use sitename in page titles" and here you can choose (after or before or... none).

I have done this, but the keywords and description keep being added!

I don't know why still the keywords and description are added ...maybe is a component bug .... or it's another option that should be enabled or disabled ....

Try to upgrade to the latest version and see what happens ...if there is the same problem then wait for administrator's post.

maybe you could post a screenshot or status of your JoomSEF plugin settings?
Make sure the cache has been cleaner if you are using it.
