Links in content items not working

Support forum for users using free edition of JoomSEF 3 (Joomla 1.5 compatible). These forums are mainly for mutual help between users.

Hi, I am using JoomSEF on my latest Joomla site and all is well apart from when creating links to other content items. The SEF url generated is always:

www.mysite.com/content/view.html

which doesn't correspond with anything and produces the error:

"The page you are trying to access does not exist.
Please select a page from the main menu."

Turning off JoomSEF fixes the problem.


I'm using JoomSEF v1.4.0 and the latest Joomla (1.0.12).

Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

could you be please a bit more specific about "creating links to other content items"?
