joomsef htaccess not working with subdomain

joomsef htaccess not working with subdomain 15 years, 8 months ago #6295

I have been using joomsef for over a year now and it has always worked for me, but i installed it on a subdomain site and i get 500 error.

is there a setting under the .htaccess file that im suppose to change?

I love this extension and will use it forever!

I just wanted to add that the directory my joomla site resides in has an under score ( _ ) in it. Would this damage the joomsef or htaccess processes?

EDIT: and my subdomain site resides outside of the normal domain site directory.

Is anyone using joomsef with a subdomain? Did you make any modifications after install?

Any help appreciated.
