All of my links look like this:

www.mysite.com//awards-content.html

The problem is the extra slash after .com.
I see that this issue was discussed earlier in October, but there had not been a resolution yet.

Has anyone solved this problem.

please write how you Joomla! path is configured in Joomla config file (check Global configuration).

The "Live Site" should not end with "/". E.g.: www.artio.cz, not "www.artio.cz/".

This might be also caused by some Apache setting depending on your server configuration.
Also please write what is the RewriteBase value in your .htaccess file. (make sure it is either "/" if your site is located in root or that it ends with "/")

Also it might be good to send the link to your site.

Well there is no / at the end of my url site in the global configuration of Joomla (1.0.12) and in the .htaccess I made copy paste the instuctions I take in the installation and I see there is a # RewriteBase / on it.I have my site installed on the root.
The site is the etools with .gr at the end

could you please specify if the problem occurs just for VM component or other components also?

If it occurs for all components, you should try to uncomment the RewriteBase directive. If it is occurs just for VM, could you please publish here a link to the problematic items?
