TOPIC: Google can not find the SEO Artio pages?

Google can not find the SEO Artio pages? 17 years, 5 months ago #2396

Hello I am in need of assistance from anyone who knows :(

I helped a friend with a site and in the meantime his page ranking have completely dropped off the map because google no longer maps his pages. I set up a robot and it says that it is working properly, yet all the pages come up with a could not find. If I click then I reach them all. Can anyone suggest something because it looks like a few weeks of work is going to be thrown out because of this...

Cheers,

Andy Ray

I'm having the same problem, Google doesn't seem to list anything apart from the front page.

What about the robots settings -- index, follow? Is that set correctly at your site? Do you allow spiders to crawl your site?

To AndyRay: well, if the pages cannot be found, you should check closer for reasons? Did you try Google's webmaster tools to see what is the indexing status for that site? Are you feeding Google your site map? If yes, is it correct?

There may be plenty of reasons for that... maybe you could try to check out at some SEO related pages as well; these are moreless ment just for JoomSEF problem and I am not really sure, your problems are related to JoomSEF.

Anyway, if any visitors knows, he is free and welcome to help your here of course. :)

This definitely is a SEO problem and not related to JoomSEF! :) I'm absolutely sure about that. Unfortunately I don't know any english SEO forum as I'm located in Germany.

Just use Google search and browse the web searching a SEO (search engine optimization) forum! Be patient and keep on learning on SEO - It took me some time too. This is not the easiest part of webdesign...

Good luck and success!
