TOPIC: force ssl off - https problem with ARTIO joomsef

force ssl off - https problem with ARTIO joomsef 13 years, 5 months ago #22378

Hi I did install a ssl certificate on my server a while a go, which I know like to delete again as I don't need it. First I did turn of force ssl in joomla, to get no https links. But I still get https links as if nothing has changed. I found out that if I turn off Artio Joomsef then it works, no https links anymore BUT the links now show a 404 error page and of course the links are to long. This is why I like to keep Artio joomsef on as it is a great extension but there is a conflict with the https links or Artio joomsef has cached them somehow ?

Anyone has an idea how to fix this? I even deleted the ssl certificate on the server to see if this helps but no good, so I had to put it back in for now otherwise any link which had a https link would not work. I also did check in the configuration file var $live_site has no https it's on http.

Any help on this would be greatly apprecated

Carsten

Have you purged Artio URL cache?
