TOPIC: Fatal error

Fatal error 18 years, 1 month ago #594

  • lcdude
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sefreltoabs() (previously declared in /home/woodworl/public_html/components/com_sef/joomsef.php:390) in /home/woodworl/public_html/includes/sef.php on line 377

I installed a new component called "SOBI2" over the weekend. I had to turn it off it seems to cause the above error.

Any Ideas? I am a newbie so any help is appreciated!

add this before the define in the code "defined (sefreltoabs) or " on the line with the error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sefdecode() in /home/casamap/public_html/components/com_sobi2/sef_ext.php on line 78
Can anyone help me?

Re:Fatal error 18 years ago #838

I solved the problem ...
Just delete the file /components/com_sobi2/sef_ext.php

I'm also getting this "Cannot redeclare sefreltoabs()" error, but I'm not using SOBI2.

I'm using the JCE editor and the error pops up when I click on the doclink button. The exact error is:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sefreltoabs() (previously declared in /homepages/20/d94207572/htdocs/dummysite/components/com_sef/joomsef.php:394) in /homepages/20/d94207572/htdocs/dummysite/includes/sef.php on line 377

I get this error ONLY in the frontend. It works fine in the backend.

Also, it works even in the frontend when I disable JoomSEF, but will stop working again if I turn it back on.

Need help!<br><br>Post edited by: sypl, at: 2006/12/08 04:54

Same error here as the above post - anyone found a fix yet?

Cheers

*fixed* I loaded /includes/sef.php and deleted the following from line 383

function sefRelToAbs( $string ) {
global $mosConfig_live_site, $mosConfig_sef, $mosConfig_multilingual_support;
global $iso_client_lang;

then went to line 558 and deleted
}

Works great now - and I can't see that I broke anything else!<br><br>Post edited by: Jadzia, at: 2007/06/17 08:54
