When my authors are editing their pieces from the front end, I'm finding that each time they save, it creates an additional SEF, eg.:

home.stopsign.com/reference/articles/microsoft-ie-flaw.php
home.stopsign.com/reference/articles/microsoft-ie-flaw-2.php
home.stopsign.com/reference/articles/microsoft-ie-flaw-3.php

and so on, each time the article is edited. Is there a way to get around this?
