Installed artio joomsfe 1.4, read the install doc and made the necessary changes to .htaccess file. Then 2 things happen:

When I visit my site the homepage show this error: "The page you are trying to access does not exist. Please select a page from the main menu."

Then I click home and I can see the homepage as normal, and all the pages URL is like the following.

www.domainname.com/en/welcome.html?Itemid=31

Why Itemid is still shown in the URL?

Hello,

appending Itemid to the URL is a default configuration in JoomSEF 1.4.1. It has been reverted back in 1.4.2, however, you can edit it by switching the &quot;Exclude source information &quot; setting in JoomSEF configuration.
