Migrate Joomla SEF URLs to JoomSEF 13 years, 1 month ago #23634

Hi,

I guess this is kind of a newbie-question, but since I didn't find an answer in the FAQ, the manual or the forum search, I have to try my luck here.

I have a Joomla+JoomFish up and running with over 500 URLs (* 3 because of 3 languages) with the standard Joomla SEF and I want to migrate to Artio JoomSEF.

Can I somehow automatically create 301 redirects from the old Joomla SEF links to the new ones?
I'm definitly not going to enter 1500 URLs by hand into the table ;-)

Hello,

the answer is quite simple.
You do not need to define the redirects for these, as JoomSEF will recognize and redirect them automatically. (unless you forbid it to do so).
Just keep "Redirected Joomla SEO URLs" setting set to "yes".
