TOPIC: Google Sitemap

Google Sitemap 13 years, 3 months ago #24033

Hi All,

I have a a large site with JoomSEF recently installed. I previously used SH404sef but I have removed it and its URLS and restarted with JoomSEF.
I have created the URL's and created a sitemap using JoomSEF, which was then submitted to Google etc. However I note that this morning, Google webmaster is giving me this issue:

**************

URLs not followed
When we tested a sample of URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs redirect to other locations. We recommend that your Sitemap contain URLs that point to the final destination (the redirect target) instead of redirecting to another URL.

**********

Any ideas what to do? I didn't have this issue with SH404SEF.

Many Thanks

Hi

I removed it completely before using Artio. I also did not import any URL's, JoomSef has generated them all.

Any ideas or means of resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated. The website is Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.

Many Thanks

Adam

Make sure there are not defined any redirections that may relate to the URLs defined in the sitemap.

That is the only cause for this error I can imagine.
