TOPIC: Duplicate URLs

JoomSef v.2.2.2
Duplicate URLs will appear in the following way (com_content)
www.mysite.com/PageName - OK
www.mysite.com/PageName?var1=1&var2=2 - creates duplicate PageName-2, even though I have turned off options to Append non-SEF variables to URL. Is there a way to NOT allow this behaviour, and regardless of parameters in the URL, my SEF URLs remain untouched?
