I tracked down the Internal Server Error, ISE, that I was getting when I tried to install (www.artio.net/support-forums/joomdoc-docman-2/install-trouble) to mod_security being installed on the server. I now have mod_security turned off and I am having some additional problems. This time with more meaningful error messages. The text as follows.



* JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/web/joomla/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_joomdoc_latest.ini'. Please initially check whether:
• the Extension is already installed
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt
* JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/web/joomla/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_joomdoc_logs.ini'. Please initially check whether:
• the Extension is already installed
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt

• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt

• the Extension is already installed
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt
* JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/web/joomla/plugins/search/joomdoc.php'. Please initially check whether:

Then I get:

The directories that it claims are unwritable are there and they are writable by the ftp user. It does seem to create the directories:

and this for instance:

But other stuff it seems to call for is not there at all such as:

ls: /web/joomla/administrator/components/com_joomdoc/classes/DOCMAN_config.class.php: No such file or directory

Any ideas on how to proceed at this point?
