Hi,
I'm looking for a charting application that will work with JomSocial to allow users to create fitness and weight loss goals and chart their progress.
Will Fusion Charts integrate with JomSocial?

Thanks,

Hello,
paid version of FusionCharts for Joomla can load data from database, so it can be this way integrated with any other component that stores the needed data to database.

Thus, if the weight data would be saved in DB (or file stored on server disk), FusionCharts can be configured to load the data from there and generate the graphs based on this data.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've already paid for custom development to add charting functionality to my JomSocial area however I am not yet satisfied with the appearance and have not gone live with the application yet.

This graph (fusion) is much more visually appealing and I would definitely prefer it if can integrate with JomSocial and allow for users to create charts based on their fitness goals. Do you have any examples of where someone is using this in JomSocial?

Thanks

Hello,

unfortunatelly, I am not aware of any specific integration with JomSocial.
I was just saying than it should be possible if the data needed for the generation of the graph can be loaded using and SQL query from database.
