TOPIC: Pre sale questions

Pre sale questions 13 years, 3 months ago #23424

Hi,

Just got some questions before purchasing your software:

-Can we get a demo login to see and test the back-end system?
-Is there a maximum number of e-tickets to sell per event? (Are there any limitations per VM e-ticket system except the max. number of events?)
-Is there a possibility for resellers to sell tickets for their own event and use e.g. an iframe in their own website. Which gives us the possibility to sell tickets via our own system.
-How does the reseller section work? Is there a possibility for resellers to log in at the back-end so they can manage their own tickets?

Hope to hearing from you soon,

Hello,

- The demo server isn't public. If you write me what are you interested in concretely, I can send you screenshots or write more informations.
- No there is no limitation in the number of sold tickets per event (If you want it, you can set the number of tickets in the stock)
- I think that it's not possible to sell tickets of other sellers without the ticket creation. But you can create tickets in you system and other sellers can sell this tickets on their cash desks using the front-end GUI. You must just create a company, add users to the company and set company permissions for each ticket. If you log-in as a member of the company to the front-end cash desk, you can sell only the tickets for which you have permission.
- No, resellers don't need the back end access (previous point). But if you want it, you can give them the access (this is fully managed by Joomla).

Hi,

Thanks for the fast response!

Just some last questions:

-Can we sell tickets per category? in your demo i see all tickets in one page. We would like to separate them per page.

-We would like to give non-webshop owners (without ticketing system for their event) the possibility to sell tickets via our own website with the artio e-ticket system. It looks possible but do you have any experience in this kind of situation?

Can you send me some screenshots of the back-end just to get an impression?

Hi

We received excellent support from Pedu, great man, but at the end of the day the extension just wasn't going to do what we needed.

We managed to achieve that, to a degree, with Virtuemart alone.

It's worth being aware that Artio don't do refunds it seems, so if you don't get what you need you are unlikely to see your money back.

All the best guys

Hello,

Yes It's possible to manage tickets in more categories. The only condition is that the category flypage have to be set to: VMeTicketFlyPage.tpl

Yes It's possible to sell tickets of other sellers. You have to create them in the administration and then they can sell them on the cash desk (the front-end GUI). They can sell only the tickets, for which they have permission (good for licences with more parallel events). Only the cash desk sell is possible, there is no module for e-shops interconnection.

Here you can see some component screen shots: www.artio.net/joomla-extensions/electronic-tickets
Tell me, what part of the system are you interested in, to make another screen shots.

Hi,

This extension sounds really sweet, but i got a last question.

Is it possible to restrict back-end access per event? We would like to give a little more access to the reseller to customer data etc.

Kind regards
